Obituary for Mary M. Holzinger
WEST PEORIA – Mary M. Holzinger, 98, of West Peoria passed away at 9:05 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Heddington Oaks. Mary was born on May 11, 1915, in Peoria to Leo and Helen (Woods) Holzinger. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Kathryn Hoehne; and her nephew’s wife, Paulla Hoehne. She is survived by her nieces and nephew, Anne (Curtis) Giddens, Steve Hoehne, and Geralyn (James) Maroon all of Peoria. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and the German-American Society. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 22, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Msgr. Brian Brownsey will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Peoria. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
