Obituary for Bonnie M. Madigan

Bonnie M. Madigan 75, of Peoria Heights died at 1:28 p.m. July 21, 2007 at Rose Garden Nursing Home in Peoria Heights. Born January 24, 1932 in Peoria to Bernard and Lucille Lehnhausen Nussbaum. She married John T. Madigan on May 14, 1949 at St. Patrick’s Church in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are 5 sons; John T. III missing for the last five years, Bernard C. (Pamela) Madigan of Bartonville, Daniel C. (Wendy) Madigan of Farmington, Patrick M. (Kelly) of Peoria, and Mark A. (Cheryl) Madigan of Peoria Heights. Two daughters; Christine M. (Sandy) Frazier of Clovis, CA., and Kim M. Pettit of Princeville. One Brother Bernard (Virginia) Nussbaum of Eureka. Three Sisters; Dolores Daily of Peoria, Gloria (Bud) Sheron of Peoria and Carol Winn of Peoria. Eighteen grandchildren and Ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Stephen Madigan in 1954 and one brother Paul Anthony Nussbaum. She attended St. Patrick’s Grade School and Academy of Our Lady. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights. Bonnie performed with Wayne West’s Juvenile Theatre on WMBD radio in the 1940’s and was a performer with Mike Dentino’s Dance Troup. She also used her singing later in various churches and special Events. Bonnie loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and served him. She opened her home to everyone and shared that love with everyone she came in contact with. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church. Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wright and Salmon Mortuary. Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m. Further visitation will be 30 minutes before services at her church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials to Cystic Fibrosis. Tributes and condolences may be submitted to
