Obituary for Donna Mazzuckelli

Peoria- Donna Mazzuckelli, age 75, of Hanna City, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017.

Donna was born on February 2, 1942 in Peoria, a daughter of William and Margaret “Susie” (Kallister) Smith. Susie resides in Peoria at Buehler Home.

Donna is also survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jon, and three daughters; Lori Mazzuckelli (Keith) of Hanna City, Amy (Dave) Murphy of Peoria, and Paula (Todd) Sheridan of Elmwood, four grandchildren; Matthew and Jack Murphy and Tyler and Abby Sheridan and one brother; William (Sharon) Smith of Baltimore, MD.

Throughout Donna’s life, she enjoyed many outdoor activities, including skeet shooting, golf, fishing, and time spent at their Florida home. However, Donna found her greatest passion in training her many Labrador Retrievers. She was a member of the Mid Illinois Retriever Club and served on the board for several years. She and Jon traveled throughout the United States participating in field trials as well as judging them. With Jon, they made many memories and met wonderful friends along their journeys.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Elmwood, on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Fr. Joseph Dondanville will officiate.
Burial will follow in Texas Union Cemetery in Hanna City, IL.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church of Elmwood.
