Born March 6, 1918 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of Nicholas J. and Alice (Kelly) Picard, she married Dick C. Ross in Pittsburgh, PA., on November 24, 1956 and lived in Walnut, IL., until moving to Peoria in 1980. Dick preceded her in death. Also preceding Lois in death were her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Lois is survived by four children; Cynthia M. (Nolan) McElyea, Herbert R. (Sandra) Ross, both of Peoria, Charles D. Ross of Nevada, and Denise J. Warfield of Colorado Springs, CO, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Black, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was a member of Holy Family Parish in Peoria and a member of the Mary Martha Society.
Private family services will be held and burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
