William A. Noack, Jr., age 64, of Eureka, passed away just after sunrise on Saturday, January 26, 2019 surrounded by his wife, daughters and grandchildren.

William was born on July 31, 1954 in Peoria, son to William, Sr. and D. Joan Mason Noack. He was married to Trisha Triff Noack on May 22, 1982 at First English Lutheran Church in Peoria. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Surviving are three daughters; Kelsey (Jason) Myers of St. Augustine, FL; Betsy (Blake) Wisely of Farmington, IL; and Sally Jo (Jake) Eastman of East Peoria, IL. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Kim (Bob) Burk of Salem, MO and Kathy Jo Noack of Jefferson City, MO.

William was a talented artist who graduated from SIU Carbondale in 1976 with a B.S. in Art Direction. He worked for many years as a creative director of graphic design and later studied architectural drafting. Most recently he employed his architectural skills designing kitchens for Lowe’s of East Peoria. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, an Eagle Scout, an avid horseman, and a passionate historian who was well known for his portrayals of different eras of history at museums and events around the country.

A visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2019 at Wright & Salmon Mortuary in Peoria. A Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 135 NE Randolph Ave, Peoria, IL 61606, with a one hour visitation prior.  Pastor Mark Nelson and Pastor Matthew Synnott will officiate and burial will follow at Historic Springdale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in William’s name may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Tippecanoe Battlefield Museum.
