Obituary for Tracy L. Lowery

PEORIA-Tracy L. Lowery, 24, of Peoria, passed away at 11:22 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Tracy was our beloved brown eyed daughter and was released from her struggle and is now home with the angels. Tracy was born on January 10, 1986, in Peoria, to Roger and Connie Campbell Lowery. She attended Norwood Primary School and then in 1993, the family moved to Harlingen, Texas. She graduated from Harlingen High School South. Tracy was a very active athlete in high school, participating in basketball, volleyball, and cheerleading. After high school, she attended TSTC College in Harlingen and ICC. Surviving are her parents of Peoria; her grandmother, Orletta Hindert of Peoria; one sister, Kelly (Daniel) Batot of Houston, TX; one brother, Ryan Lowery of Harlingen, TX; and three nieces, Peyton Lynn Batot, Alexia Lowery and Angelina Lowery. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Verda Lowery of Peoria, her grandfather, Charles Campbell of Peoria, and her grandfather, Bob Hindert of Peoria. Tracy last worked as a bartender at American Pi. Tracy will always be remembered for her charismatic smile, infectious laugh, and a heart that never stopped loving. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2010, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Vonna Lou Larson officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday at Wright & Salmon Mortuary and one hour before the services at the church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
