Obituary for Tracie Ann Coffey
Peoria- Tracie Ann Coffey, age 54, of Peoria, passed away at 8:19 PM on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Kindred Hospital.
Born July 26, 1966 in Peoria, a daughter to James and Colleen (Tracy) Bruggeman. On July 13, 1985 she married Forrest Coffey, Jr. at St. Philomena Catholic Church and together they cherished 35 years. Tracie worked as a cashier for 25 years at the Sterling Kroger until her retirement. She enjoyed watching T.V., playing golf and bowling in her younger years, and truly loved her vacations to the beach. Most importantly Tracie loved and cherished her family especially her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband Forrest Coffey, Jr. of Peoria; one son Forrest (Amanda) Coffey III of Pekin; two grandchildren: Forrest Coffey IV and Addison Coffey; and one brother Bernard Bruggeman of Pekin.
Tracie was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate, and burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials in Tracie’s memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.
