Obituary for Thomas Hansen
Peoria- Thomas Hansen, age 62, of Peoria, passed away peacefully at 7:58 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Washington Christian Village surrounded by his friends and family.

Born January 28, 1957 in Peoria, a son to Mandius and Dorothy (Opdycke) Hansen. In his early years, Thomas was an active member of EP!C and the Special Olympics, enjoyed riding his bike and bowling. Thomas always had a smile on his face and was a very loving person who enjoyed seeing his friends and family, and just being around people. He never knew a stranger and anyone who ever met him, loved him and became a friend for life. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Hansen of Washington; 3 brothers: Glenn (Jean) of Minnesota, Richard (Deborah) of Utah and John (Joyce) of Boston, MA; one sister, Irene Casey of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Mandius Hansen.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 1:30 PM till time of Funeral Service at 2:30 PM at Wright & Salmon Mortuary with Deacon Jim Heatwole officiating.
