Ronald E. "Ronnie" Richardson, Jr., went to be with the glory of God’s love on Saturday, November 12, 2022. He entered the world on January 4, 1975 along with his twin sister, Christine.
Ron is survived by his beloved son, Jake; his mother Deborah Richardson and her husband Dr. Patrick Elwood; his twin sister Christine Brown and her husband Nick Brown; his younger brother Randy Richardson and his wife Brandy Richardson. He is also survived by his grandmother Alberta Scudder along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Richardson Sr., his grandfather Frank Scudder, and paternal grandparents Lawrence and Ethel Richardson.
Ron was a graduate from the St. Francis School of Nursing. He went on to further his education at SIUE graduating with honors in 2010 earning his CRNA. Ron worked for McLean County Anesthesiology and later at Associated Anesthesiologists of Peoria.
Ron was an avid fitness enthusiast and loved spending his spare time with his son Jake. Ron and Jake spent a lot of time together. One thing they enjoyed together was Cub Scouts. Ron and Jake loved spending time designing, building and racing Pine Wood Derby Cars with Randy and Randy’s son, Brady.
Ron’s connection to his Twin Sister, Christine, was very strong. They spent countless hours talking on the phone and texting back and forth talking about life and how they both could sense when the other was experiencing something significant. They both felt as though they were one half of a total person. They hated being away from each other for too long.
Ron loved his mother deeply and always valued her guidance. Deborah was Ron’s inspiration for his life and his profession.
Ron’s witty comedy and “Uncle” jokes will be sorely missed by his nieces and nephews, Andrew Akers, Alec Brown, Hannah Brown, Holland Brown and Brady Richardson.
