Obituary for Richard C. Ivey II
Peoria- Richard C. Ivey II, age 57, passed away 7:10 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born in Peoria, IL, September 17, 1959, a son of Richard C. and Marianna (Chambers) Ivey I. Richard was self-employed as an auto technician for 12 years. He was a former president of Kickapoo Sportsman Club and was proud to sponsor the winning late model car at The Peoria Speedway Series in 2013.
Survivors include one daughter; Heather (Kiel) Landers of Key West, FL., one son; Richard C. (Rachel) Ivey III. of Hanna City, IL., one step-daughter; Andrea (Scott Lindley) Endres of Bartonville, IL., six grandchildren, five sisters; Peggy (Bill) Shane of Princeville, Betty (Joe) Heinz of Kickapoo, Sally (Ron) Eller of Chillicothe, Patty (Brent) Rosenbaum of Kickapoo, and Tammy (Matt Wedekind) Ivey of Peoria, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend Tanya Green of Peoria.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday 16, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church of Kickapoo. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass. Father Joseph Dondanville will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Kickapoo.
