Obituary for Phuong (Le) Ngo

East Peoria- Phuong (Le) Thi Ngo, 48, of East Peoria, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2007, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her caring and loving family. Born on July 14, 1959 in Vietnam to Thuan Le and Hoa Tran, she was preceded in eternity by her Grandparents: Hanh Le and Chuong Dang, her father, and brother: Dung Le, and Father in Law Nguyen Ngo. Phuong arrived in the U.S.A. from Vietnam in 1975. She was married to her devoted and loving husband Kiem Ngo on November 7, 1977, in Peoria. She had a career as a beautician until she gave birth to her only child, Andrew in 1984. She decided to stay home to raise her son Andrew until 2003, when she was inspired by family and friends to open up her own business, Beyond Nails. She was a very loving and caring person. She was generous in love and in life. Everyone who met her loved her. We know she will be our Angel in Heaven. Phuong will be lovingly remembered and very dearly missed by her husband of 30 years, Kiem Ngo, son Andrew Ngo, her mother Hoa Tran, and her three older brothers: Tuu Le and his family, Nhan Le and his family, and Viet Le and his family. She will also be fondly missed by her mother in law, 7 brother in laws and their families,2 sister in laws and their families and countless caring friends. A Funeral mass will be on Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, and half hour prior to the mass on Saturday, at the church. A Wake Service will be at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may be made in memory of Phuong to Peoria Community Bank. The fund will be used to help underprivileged children in Vietnam. Tributes and condolences may be submitted to
