Peggy worked at CWTC in Peoria since 1988 where she enjoyed coming in every day to see the smiles on her consumers' faces. She was the manager of contract packaging for 33 years. In her free time, Peggy loved to fish, shop, get pedicures with her girls and be anywhere with her grandkids. Her favorite vacation spot was on a boat sunbathing and fishing on Lake Chetek in Wisconsin. She was die hard Green Bay Packers fan and would always wear Packers gear from head to toe, especially her Cheese Head. One of her wishes was to take her grandkids to Lambeau Field. Family was the absolute most important to Peggy. She lit up every room that she walked in and she never met a stranger. Peggy would give you anything you needed even if that meant she would go without. She was the true depiction of what love was and how to give love to all she met. She will be so dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm at Wright and Salmon Mortuary on Friday, June 18, 2021. Visitation will be three hours prior to services beginning at 9:00 AM until time of service. Fr. Patrick Henehan will officiate and a procession will follow to Springdale Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 2520 Elisha Ave., Zion, IL 60099, where Peggy received the best care.
