Obituary for Peggy Lee Graumlich
PEORIA – Peggy Lee Graumlich, 61, of Peoria passed away at 11:36 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Peggy was born on Aug. 31, 1954, in Camp Lejeune, N.C., to the late William and Geraldine (Butler) Rowbottom. She married James Graumlich on Feb. 26, 1983, in Coral Gables, Fla. He survives.
She is also survived by two sons, Andrew (Rebecca) Graumlich of Urbana and George Graumlich of Peoria; one sister, Patricia (Fred) Grooms of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; one brother, Lynwood (Nancy) Newsome of North Carolina; one cousin, Patricia Wildman of Huntsville, Ala.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special companions, her dog, Kubla, and cat, Nosey.
Peggy loved animals and enjoyed computer games. She enjoyed going for coffee with her friends every week and hearing about their lives.
She will be remembered as a mother to a lot of people and was known to start smiling and waving when she saw a baby.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.
