Obituaries
Pamela Ann Rice passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022, with her family by her side, at UnityPoint Methodist in Peoria.
Pam was born on August 29, 1947, to F. Daryl and Rosemary (Eaton) Bell in Peoria.
She married Tom Rice of Magnolia, IL on June 21, 1975. Surviving are one son, Andrew (Clarissa) Rice of London Mills, IL, one daughter, Tracy Koch of Chillicothe, IL, four grandchildren, Isaac, Jensen and Griffin Koch and Tanner Rice, adopted grandsons, Johnie and Michael, two brothers Michael (Sheri) Bell and David (Linda) Bell as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pam attended Woodruff High School and later graduated from Methodist School of Nursing to become a Registered Nurse. Pam worked for The Quad City Counseling Service in Princeton and Henry, IL. After she married, she became a stay at home mother and wife. Most of all, Pam enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved camping, sewing, reading and attending her monthly book club and sewing club meetings. Pam and Tom traveled frequently and camped every winter in Florida. She joined the campground sewing club and made many friends there. She was a member of Northwoods Community Church in Chillicothe. She loved people, had many friends and truly enjoyed doing things for them.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria, with visitation one hour prior, also at the church. Pastor Keith Lindgren will officiate and burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, IL.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate or Northwoods Community Church, Chillicothe Campus.
