Obituary for Michael Thomas Julien
Chillicothe - Michael Thomas Julien, 62, of rural Chillicothe, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016, after a long battle with Emphysema.
Michael was born Aug. 29, 1953, in Peoria to Robert and Betty Charlene Julien.
He graduated from Bergan H.S. in 1971 and was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1971-1975. After serving his country for 4 years, he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad in Chillicothe, Caterpillar, ITI Services in Mossville and was a long time employee at Dave Gill – Sterling Trucks.
One of his favorite hobbies was fishing.
He is survived by his companion, Lori Griffith; and her two sons, Justin James "JJ" Griffith and Robert Ikemire Jr. He is also survived by his son, Quentin Michael (Ruth Formosa) Julien, who are living in Scotland; five grandchildren, Nicole Terri Julien, Chanel Sahara Julien, Chandler Solomon Julien, Lucius Alexander Julien, and Arion Lucian Julien; his brother, Stephen (Connie) Julien; and three sisters, Catherine (Dean) Naleway, Teresa Bart, and Mary (Paul) Rodriguez.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Charlene (Tribe) and Robert Thomas Julien.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
