Obituary for Michael Earl Rabjohns
Michael Earl Rabjohns, age 34, born in Madison, Wisconsin on December 24, 1987, died on Saturday, March 19, 2022 in Chicago.
Surviving to cherish the many beautiful memories of his life are his parents Ronald and Camilla Rabjohns, brother Nicholas Charles Rabjohns, niece Ella Rabjohns, sister Kelly Walsh (Adam) Romines and nephews George and Walter Romines.
He was full of energy growing up, irrepressible, outgoing, and friendly with everyone he met, with an ebullient spirit. Growing up he loved to skateboard all over town, then he loved snowboarding, and later in life he rode his electric one wheel all over Seattle.
Michael trained at Aveda Hair Salons and was a talented and successful barber working in Chicago, Southern California and Seattle. He made beloved friends wherever he lived. Michael was a smart, strong, handsome, courageous, compassionate and kind man. He brightened many peoples’ lives including his family’s.
His parents want all to know that addiction is a disease not a choice. Michael had many productive and happy years and we will always be very proud of him. We pray he knows that we will love him forever. He had many dark days also, but now we know he has no more suffering, loneliness, sadness or shame.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 between the hours of 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Wright & Salmon Mortuary.
Memorials in Michael’s memory may be made to Invictus Woods Endowment Corporation or to the Jolt foundation.
