Obituary for Mary Louise Grimm
Peoria- Mary Louise Grimm, age 89, of Peoria, passed away at 9:30 AM on Saturday, January 07, 2017 at Proctor Place.
Born September 29, 1927 in Pekin, she was a daughter to Herman and Mary Dringenberg-Harms. She was a graduate of Pekin High School, and was a homemaker for the majority of her life. Mary married Fray Fuller, he preceded her in death in 1973. She later married Bernard Grimm on April 16, 1977 in Pekin. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2005. Mary enjoyed traveling and working in her flower garden. She will be remembered as a loving aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include three nephews, Barry (Sharon) Harms of Pekin, Bruce (Doreen) Harms of Wilmington, IL, and Brian (Robin) Harms of Edmonton, Okla.; four nieces, Jan Lohnes of Pekin, Julie Nitzschke of Dallas, Tex., Cassie Sorenson of Oxnard, Calif., and Jill Shue of Pekin; as well as, numerous great nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Fray, 2nd husband Bernard, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Mausoleum. Deacon Bob Myers will officiate and entombment will follow in Resurrection Mausoleum.
Memorials in Mary’s memory may be made to the Catholic Cemetery Association of Peoria.
