Margaret M. Langenberg, 105, of Peoria passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022.
Margaret was born in Peoria on October 10, 1916, to John T. and Catherine (Dixon) O’Brien and married Earl W. Langenberg on April 20, 1938.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl on August 2, 1995, her son, E. Walter Langenberg, Jr. on June 18, 2017 and her daughter, Carol A. Booth on September 27, 2020. Margaret was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her 5 Grandchildren, Lynne Booth Snell, Mark Booth, Todd Langenberg, Neil Langenberg (Celeste) and Jill Langenberg Armbruster (Ross) and 4 Great Grandchildren, Thomas Langenberg, Ana Langenberg, Louis Earl Armbruster and Roy Armbruster.
She is a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, past member of St. Vincent de Paul Women’s Guild and the Catholic Women’s League.
Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Resurrection Mausoleum Chapel in Peoria, with a one hour prior visitation. Fr. Stephen Willard will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum.
Memorials in Margaret’s name may be made to donor’s choice of charities.
