Obituary for Margaret C. Nader
PEORIA – Margaret C. Nader, 86, of Peoria, formerly of Kickapoo, passed away at 9:45 P.M. Wednesday, on July 20, 2011, at Christian Buehler Memorial Home. Margaret was born April 1, 1925, in Kickapoo, IL, to Frank and Elizabeth Stark Nader. She is survived by three sisters, Virginia Stokowski of Peoria, Shirley Nader of Bensonville, Dolores (Warren) Oppe of Peoria; one sister-in-law, Veronica Nader of Peoria; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters Agnes Grawey and Irene Nader; and two brothers Kermit and George Nader. Margaret owned and operated Nader Grocery in Kickapoo. She then worked as a bank teller for Prospect Bank for 21 years and retired in 1990. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kickapoo, it’s prayer chain and the Altar and Rosary Society. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at St. Mary’s Church in Kickapoo. Rev. Joseph Dondanville officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the mass at the church. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Kickapoo. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kickapoo.
