Obituary for Lucille C. Hagan

Peoria- Lucille C. Hagan, age 97, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria.

Lucy was born on March, 28, 1921 in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of August and Cora (Moser) Weiss. She married James F. Hagan on November 8, 1953 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2008 in Peoria.

Lucy is survived by one son, Timothy J. Hagan of Peoria Heights and two grandsons, Ian C. (Glenna) Hagan of Peoria and Evan P. Hagan of Brooklyn, NY.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Weiss and one sister, Dorothy Weiss-Mezo.

During WWII, Lucy worked for Amtorp Inc, as a machinist manufacturing torpedoes for the US Navy. She was an Avon Representative for 40 years and was a member of the Avon President Club from 1965-2005. She also owned and operated an alteration shop in St. Louis called the Lucy Box.

A Graveside Service will be at 1:30 PM, Monday, December 3, 2018 and burial will follow at Historic Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
