Obituary for Larry W. Bussman
Peoria ~ Larry W. Bussman, 72, of Peoria, passed away at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at his residence.
Larry was born December 14, 1949 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to William and Gwendolyn (Smith) Bussman.
He was a 1968 graduate of Peoria Central High School. He was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan, San Francisco 49ers football fan and University of Illinois basketball and football fan. He enjoyed playing golf and loved to fish. He loved his dog, Buddy. He was a long-time member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
Larry had retired from the Rock Island Railroad Company.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer L. Bussman of Oklahoma City, OK and Mary Jo (Jason) Coley of Georgia; one brother, Gary (Diane) Bussman of Peoria; one nephew and two nieces.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Wright & Salmon Mortuary in Peoria. Private services will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Thomas Food Pantry at 904 E. Lake Ave. Peoria Heights, IL 61616.
