Obituary for L. Craig Cecil
Peoria- L. Craig Cecil, died on Friday, December 17, 2021, after a short stay at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago.
He was born September 22, 1961 in Aurora, IL., to Larry Cecil and Sheryl Young Busby.
Surviving are his mother of Peoria, his father of Canton, two daughters, Cassie (Chris Steder) Cecil of Monroe Center, Il., and Samantha (Ty) Cornmesser of Miami, FL; one son, Andrew (Ashley) Cecil of Cortland, Il.; two grandchildren, Michael and Echo Cecil; one brother, Michael (Lynn) Cecil of Farmington; one sister, Kristy Cecil-Harris of Peoria; two nieces and one nephew also survive.
Craig worked as salesman for Royal Publishing for many years.
He was an avid Cub and Bear fan as well, and could often be heard screaming at the TV on Sundays!
A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 6 PM at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, with Pastor Stephen Barch officiating.
Visitation will be from 4PM until the time of service at 6PM.
Cremation rites will be accorded after the services.
