SENOIA, Ga. – Kenneth “Ken” Dalton, 71, passed away on July 20, 2015, at his home in Senoia, Ga., surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born Sept. 20 1943, in the United Kingdom to the late Harry and Edith Dalton. He was preceded in death by his son, Tony. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen M Dalton of Senoia, Ga.; his brother, Frank; his sister, Dorothy of the UK; five children, Karen of the UK, Lee of the UK, Steven of Spain, Byron (Jennifer) Oyler of Cary, N.C., and Keri Clifton of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren, Casey, Isabella, Kylie, Danielle, Millie and Ruby. Ken attended engineering college in the UK and was a member of the Royal Air Force. He was an active member of St. Georges Church Tanglin in Singapore, as well as, Legacy Church in Senoia, Ga. Ken began working for Enercon Engineering of East Peoria in 1983 and traveled extensively for the company, opening their first satellite office in New Hampshire in 1985 and opening their first overseas office in Singapore in 1994, where he lived until 2000. Ken served as mentor to next level management and to many individuals within the company until he endured a spinal cord injury in 2008. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, preceded by a visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made be made to the Kenneth Dalton Memorial fund.
