Obituary for JoCele Williams

GERMANTOWN HILLS – JoCele Williams, 49, of Germantown Hills, passed away at 5:35 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013, at OSF Richard C. Owens Hospice Home. JoCele was born on November 22, 1963 in Peoria to Ralph A. and Ellen (Kelly) Gorman. She married David M. Williams on September 19, 1987 at St. Bernard Catholic Church. He survives. She is also survived by her mother, Ellen Gorman of Peoria; two daughters, Kaitlin and Morgan Williams of Germantown Hills; three sons, Michael (Jen) Williams of Peoria and Colin and Thomas Williams of Germantown Hills; five sisters, Kathy (Tom) McNamara of Savannah, GA, Susie (Mark) Slover of Plainfield, IL, Mary (Doug) Whitaker of Bloomington, Jeannie (Greg) Bachler of Peoria, and Ellen (Drew) Cassidy of Peoria; three brothers, Steve (Peggy) Gorman of Chicago, Dick (Cindy) Gorman of Rockford, and Mike (Alice) Gorman of Peoria; 44 nieces and nephews; and fifteen great-nieces and nephews. JoCele was also expecting her first granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. JoCele was an LPN at Forest Park Nursing Home and Galena Park Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in Metamora. JoCele loved Las Vegas, her flowers, and her pool; but her greatest joy was being a wife and mom. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Msgr. Brain Brownsey will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2013, also at the church. An additional visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF Richard C. Owens Hospice Home or St. Mark Catholic Church.
