Obituary for Jeffrey J. Hoover
Peoria – Jeffrey J. Hoover, age 56, passed away at 7:21 pm, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Unity Point-Methodist.
Born July 21, 1960 in Peoria, a son of Donald and Donna (Brecklin) Hoover. He was a graduate of Washington Community High School and he attended Olney College in Olney, IL.
Jeff was an automobile salesman in the area for many years prior to his lengthy illness.
Jeff married Jill McLinden on March 12, 1983 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights. She survives. Jeff is also survived by daughter Ashley (Brent) Wade of Knoxville, TN, two sons; Alex of Peoria Heights and Riley of Peoria; and two grandchildren; Landon and Bailey Wade of Knoxville, TN. He is also survived by his mother, sister, Cindy (Steve) Doty, brother, Stuart (Cindy) Hoover and his special aunt, Nancy Hoover, as well as numerous family members and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 10 am until 12 pm with services immediately following at Wright and Salmon Mortuary. Pastor Wayne Bowling will officiate.
