Obituary for James W. Lemm
HANNA CITY-James W. Lemm, 57, of Hanna City, IL, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center ER. He was born on March 12, 1953, in Peoria, to Roland and Grace Pullen Lemm. He married Terri Johnson on April 21, 1973, in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Joseph W. (Stephanie) Lemm of Hanna City and Nicholas J. (Kacy) Lemm of Chattanooga, TN; one brother, Robert (Joy) Lemm of Pass A Grille, FL; one sister, Linda (Jerry) Stetzler of Chattanooga, TN; two grandchildren, Abbey and Layne; four nephews; two nieces and one great niece. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Clayton Johnson and two brothers-in-law. James worked in the Engine Testing Department at Caterpillar, Inc. in Mossville, where he worked for 37 years. He was a member of the UAW. He was a Woodruff High School graduate and attended Bradley University for 3 years. James loved to hunt and fish and was a diehard Cardinal fan. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at First English Lutheran Church with Pastor James Lillie officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Wright & Salmon Mortuary and one hour before the services at the church. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
