Obituary for Ibtehaj J. Haddadin
Peoria- Ibtehaj (Joy) Haddadin, 83, of Peoria, IL passed away at 2:30am Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born on January 1, 1933 in Karak, Jordan. There, Ibtehaj married Jobrail Haddadin on October 14, 1951, and they moved to Peoria, IL in 2001. Jobrail passed away on December 10, 2012.
Surviving are her children Vera (Matthew) Yee, Eyman Haddadin, and Thaer (Maribelle) Haddadin, of Peoria, IL, and Maha (Adeeb), Liana, Emad (Jihan), and Jihad Haddadin, all of Amman, Jordan. Also surviving are 4 brothers, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Ibtehaj lived at St. Sharbel Village and loved to cook and invite family and friends over to eat and socialize. She will be remembered for her generous heart and sense of humor.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm Friday, December 23, 2016 at Wright and Salmon Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following week in Amman, Jordan.
