Obituary for Helen E. Radosevich

PEORIA-Helen E. Radosevich, 86 of 602 W. Westwood in Peoria, passed away at 5:22 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. Born August 13, 1920 in Dumfermline, IL to Frank and Caroline Pirsich Juraco. She married Joseph M. Radosevich on September 14, 1946 in Canton. He survives. Also surviving are five sons, Dr. Frank (Caroline) Radosevich, Stanley Radosevich, Milton (Barbara) Radosevich all of Peoria, Dr. James Radosevich of Belvidere and Father Eugene Radosevich of Streator; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack Juraco of Kalamazoo, Michigan; and one sister, Mary Juraco of Chicago. She was preceded in death by one son, David Radosevich, two brothers and two sisters. Helen graduated from Macedonia Grade School and Canton Community High School She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, it’s Mother’s Club and Blue Circle, R.S.V.P. Organization, St. Francis Women’s Auxiliary and Croation Fraternal Union Lodge 367 in Canton, Illinois for 50 years. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Bernard Church with Rev. Eugene Radosevich officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Wright & Salmon Mortuary with a Wake Service at 5:30 p.m. and recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m. Additional visitation will be 30 minutes before the mass at the church. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard Church.
