Obituary for Heidi L. Wallis
Peoria- Heidi L. Wallis, age 55, of Peoria, passed away at 1:52 AM on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Unity Point Proctor Hospital.
Born August 14, 1966 in Peoria, a daughter to William and Sharon (Woolford) Porter. Surviving is her father William Porter of Peoria. Her mother Sharon Porter preceded her in death. Her husband Chris Wallis survives along with three children: Andrea Hollins of Peoria, Desiree Kingcade of East Peoria, and Christopher I. Wallis of Peoria; two step-children: Megan Garcia of Morton and Allison Wallis of Hammond, Louisiana; seven grandchildren: Azhylis, M’Khi, M’liik, Raje, Trinity, Demetrias II and Amorah all of Peoria; six sisters: Rozette, Bronetta, Ruthan, Kandace, Lyvette, Bridgette; one brother Chad; as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved and cared for dearly.
She formerly worked as a receptionist at Cornerstone Rehabilitation. Heidi enjoyed spending time with friends and family, loved music, dancing, shopping and Michael Jackson.
Cremation rights have been accorded. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in memory of her at a later date.
