Obituary for Harold W. Boettger

PEORIA-Harold W. Boettger, 83, of Princeville, passed away at 3:05 a.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Proctor Hospital. He was born on January 19, 1924 in Peoria to Carl Sr. and Marie Boettger. He married Mary Ann Cambria on February 20, 1953 in Peoria. She passed away on February 24, 1994 in Kickapoo. He was also preceded in death by one step son, John Taylor, three brothers, Clayton Boettger, Fred Boettger and Carl Boettger, Jr.; and one sister, Marie Hatterman. He is survived by one step son, David (Linda) Taylor of Fort Walton Beach, FL; four step grandchildren, Tammy Taylor, Stephanie Bennett, Bryan Taylor and John Taylor and several nieces and nephews. Harold worked as a Postal Clerk at the US Post Office in Peoria. He served in the US Navy for 8 years during World War II. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kickapoo where a Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday with Rev. Patrick Riordan officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Wright & Salmon Mortuary with a Scripture Service at 6 p.m. Additional visitation will be 30 minutes before the mass at the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or St. Mary’s Church in Kickapoo. Tributes and condolences may be submitted to
