Obituary for Eric F. Lang
Eric Francis Lang, age 70, passed away on Friday, April, 7, 2023 at his home in Peoria, IL.
Eric was born on January 14, 1953 in Peoria, the eldest son of Frank A. and Jeanne (Waniger) Lang.
He attended Spalding Institute and proudly served in the US Navy. He was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and a member of the Elmhurst Model Railroad Club. Eric worked for the United States Post Office until his retirement.
Eric is survived by his mother, Jeanne Lang of Peoria, brother, David Lang of Peoria, sister, Mary Lang of Peoria Heights, sister, Amy Lang of Chicago, and niece, Amanda Carmichael of Denver, CO. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank.
Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 AM at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church on Thursday, April 13, 2023, with a one hour prior visitation. Fr. William Miller will officiate. Burial of Ashes will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in West Peoria, IL.
