WASHINGTON-Elizabeth Moye-Pirck, 91, of the Washington Christian Village in Washington, passed away at 12:54 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on April 3, 1916 in Ridgeway, IL to Peter and Barbara Unfried Kohl. She married Paul Pirck on February 23, 1963 in Creve Coeur. He passed away on April 2, 1980 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one son, George Moye, one stepson, Jack Pirck and one sister, Edith. She is survived by two sons, Benjamin (Patricia) Moye of Peoria and Charles (Irma) Robbins of Washington, IL; three step daughters, Alice Sedekum of Creve Coeur, Dorothy Ann Oldham of Blytheville, AR and Pauline Bochum of Huntley, IL; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Moye of Kickapoo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Kohl of Peoria; two sisters, Clara Hall of Peoria and Mary Murray of Washington, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth first worked at Princess Peggy Dress Factory and then at Caterpillar, Inc. in the Logistics/Parts Department until her retirement. She was of the Catholic Faith. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Monica Catholic Church in East Peoria with Rev. Joseph Donton officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the services at the church. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Kickapoo. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy or the American Cancer Society.
