Obituary for Eleanor A. McQuellon
Peoria- Eleanor A. McQuellon, 75, of Peoria, passed away at 1:22 a.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born March 15, 1942 in Peoria to Joseph A. and Elizabeth Hundhausen, she married William “Bill” McQuellon on January 26, 1962 in LaSalle, IL. He passed away on November 5, 2016 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Mollie.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn McQuellon of Peoria, and Misha (Craig) Bales of Farmington; seven grandchildren; two great grandsons; and one sister, Elizabeth (Dick) Nelson of Virginia.
Eleanor enjoyed quilting, knitting and gardening.
A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, with Franciscan Friars officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday until the time of service at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
