Obituary for Dean A. Hanley
Edwards-Dean A. Hanley, age 53, passed away at 4:57 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at his home in Edwards, IL.
Born May, 25, 1963 in Peoria, IL a son to John J. and Caryl (Noonen) Hanley. Dean was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Kickapoo. He was known for being an excellent all around handyman and very skilled wood craftsman. Dean was happiest when he was outdoors in nature.
Survivors include his father John J. Hanley, one son, Marcus (Samantha) Hanley of Washington; two grandchildren, Teagan and Elijah Hanley; one sister, Dawn (Aaron) Berg of Groveland, IL; two brothers, Daniel Hanley of Peoria and David Hanley of Kickapoo; three nieces, Anna, Kylie, and Chrissa Berg, as well as, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Caryl and one brother, Donald Hanley.
Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kickapoo. Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass. Father Joseph Dondanville will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Kickapoo.
