Obituary for Dale Allan Clary
Peoria- Dale Allan Clary, 65, died at 11:30 Pm on September 24, 2016 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born June 9, 1951 in Kewanee, Illinois, he lived in Annawan, IL and later Walnut, IL attending Walnut Community High School. Dale obtained a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois and was owner and President of Greene Farm Management in Dunlap, Illinois. He was a past President of Peoria Rotary Club, member of Shriners International and well known for his community involvement as a board member with IPMR in Peoria.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wendy Clary; two children, Jason (Lynn) and Ben (PooJa); two granddaughters, Eliza, Evie and a grandson due in December. Dale also leaves behind his beloved brother Ron (Sheila), nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Marguerite Clary.
Dale loved being in the sun. He enjoyed spending time skiing and boating on the lake or lounging on the beach with family and friends, and also loved all things Fighting Illini.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 5:30 PM at Barrack’s Cater Inn Banquet Center, 1224 W. Pioneer Parkway, in Peoria. Chaplain Trevor Bartolomucci will officiate. Visitation will be between the hours of 3:00 PM till 5:30 PM also at Barrack’s. A private family burial will take place on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Mt. Hawley Cemetery.
