Obituaries
Brigham A. Landwehr was promoted from Warrior to Angel at his favorite place to be, the red house in East Peoria on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Brigham was born on January 18, 2018 in Peoria, the son of Seth and Stacey (Bitner) Landwehr. His mother and father were by his side until the end. Brigham fought with bravery and strength, and was rewarded for his courageous fight with a new posting in heaven. His sisters said that he would probably be playing hide and seek or “can’t catch me” with Jesus as soon as he got to heaven. They’re probably right. We hope Brigham breaks the ice and tells his hilarious “guess what?” (chicken butt) joke.
Brigham loved being outdoors. He loved driving his monster truck (and was a better driver than some adults), dinosaurs, camping, and playing with his big sissies, Amelia and Charlotte. Also surviving are grandparents, Linda and Timothy Dillon of Trivoli, Denise and Donald Bitner of Washington, great-grandmother, Judith Holmes of Metamora, as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be incredibly missed by all of us for the rest of our earthly lives. He said he knew he was going to heaven and when we’re sad, we should play video games.
Services will be held privately with family only. Pastor Mike Jones will officiate. Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, financial or toy donations, to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
