Obituary for Beau E. Grant

PEORIA – Beau E. Grant, 33, of Peoria, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012.
Beau was born on June 16, 1979 in Peoria to William and Candy (Piskorski) Grant. He married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Jessie Burnett, on June 21, 2003 in Peoria. She survives.
He is also survived by his parents of Peoria; a son, Eddie, and daughter, Audrey, both at home to whom he was a loving father; siblings, Courtney (Brian) Curtis and Lindsay (Shawn) Franklin both of Peoria, Ashley (Joey) Davidson of Washington, IL, Andy Grant of Peoria, Camie (Jason) Snyder of Edwards, IL, Darcy Grant of Peoria, and Kylee Grant of St. Louis; step-brothers, John Grant of Dallas and Chris Parr of Peoria; In-laws, Kelly (Anita) Burnett of Bartonville and Mari (Gus) Davis of Farmington; brother-in-law, Chris Lusk of Santa Clarita, CA; sister-in-law, Elise Burnett of Rock Island; and many nieces and nephews. Beau was godfather to three children who also survive.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle, Marc Burnett; and niece, Tanner Lusk.
Beau was employed by Wright Tree Service.
He was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church. He was also a member of IBEW Local #51. He was a huge Notre Dame Football fan, and also was a fan of U of I basketball, the Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago Bears.
Beau had many loving friends and a smile that could light up a room.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at St. Philomena Catholic Church. Father David Richardson will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at St. Philomena Catholic Church. An additional visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass also at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded following the Mass. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in St. Mary Cemetery, West Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an education fund for his children c/o Members Choice Credit Union.
