Obituary for Audrey M. Matarelli
PEORIA-Audrey M. Matarelli, 83, of Peoria, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2009 at her residence. She was born on July 12, 1925 in Detroit, MI to Ray and Dolores Chimes Voorhees. Audrey married Silvio Matarelli on November 2, 1945 at St. Patrick’s Church in Peoria. He survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Marli (Mike) Baumgardner of Henderson, NV; two sons, Steven Matarelli and Michael (Shari) Matarelli both of Pottsboro, TX; three granddaughters, Jodi, Angela and Jeana; one grandson, Steven II; five great-grandchildren; one step-sister, Regina Beckwith of Peoria and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at St. Mark’s Church with Rev. Charles Klamut officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the mass at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in West Peoria. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
