Obituaries
Dunlap- Angelina Grace Wu, 20, of Dunlap, IL passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Friday, April 30, 2021.
Angelina is remembered dearly in the hearts of her family and friends. She is the precious daughter of Richard Wu and Lorrie Palladini. She is, and always will be, the baby sister of and best friend of Sierra and Victoria Wu. She is united with her paternal grandmother Daisy Wu and maternal grandfather John Palladini. Surviving are her paternal grandfather Htay Yan Wu (“Gong Gong”) and maternal grandmother Janice Palladini (“Memaw”).
Angelina loved her family and friends deeply. Her cat Totoro will miss her kisses and cuddles. She created beauty all around her through her paintings, dance, and photography. Angie traveled the world, but her happy place was on the beach in Tampa, Florida, hula hooping to her favorite songs.
Angie gave us all the rare gift of infinite love --- she always had room in her heart for one more person. She is a free spirit, has a beautiful soul, and was always able to light up a room with her goofy sense of humor and open heart. She made all those around her feel loved and accepted.
A celebration of life memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at St. Philomena Church with visitation being held one hour prior. Fr. David Richardson will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jolt Foundation. You can donate by visiting joltfoundation.org/donate.
