Obituary for Angela L. Pedulla

Angela Lucille Pedulla, age 64, of Peoria passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at her home in Peoria.

Born July 28, 1957, in Williamstown, W.V., she was a daughter to Robert Deems and Patricia Michael. She married the Love of her Life, Frank A. Pedulla on Nov. 1, 1986 in Syracuse, N.Y. Her husband and mother preceded her in death.

With hospitality as a focus, Angie and Frank moved to Peoria, IL to structure and manage Jumer Hotels, Inc. Angie heavily influenced the hospitality industry with her “take charge” personality. Her passion to help others through “Life Journey’s” took her to Morningside of Washington, a Five Star Senior Living Community to devote herself to healthcare of which she was a part of for the past four years. She mentored many of today’s now Leaders by offering her wisdom, experience and herself to all.

The ocean held a special place in her heart as many know and were fortunate to travel with her. Her life was her children and grandchildren. Angie’s Sunday dinners together, annual Easter egg coloring, pumpkin pie making, Halloween parties and the grandkid’s birthday parties along with the love of her family and extended family was confirmation of the importance that they were to her. Angie loved her gardening and maintained beautiful plants on her patio. The willow tree was one of her favorites as it is a symbol of fertility and new life. Angie’s love was so deep that she will leave a print on our hearts forever.

Survivors include two children, Robert (Sara) Brill, both of Peoria; Gale (Jackie) Brill, both of Peoria; six grandchildren: Kayla (Alex), Brayden, Bella, Frankie, Owen and Sydney; her father Robert Deems; two brothers: George of Parkersburg, W.V. and Robby (Sharon) Deems of Williamstown W.V.; extended family member Amanda Kennedy of Peoria; numerous nieces and nephews; two dogs: Duke and Caesar; and many life-long friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Wright & Salmon Mortuary. Memorial Service will immediately at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Stephen Barch officiating at the mortuary. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Burial of ashes will follow services at Mt. Hawley Cemetery in Peoria.

Memorials in Angie’s name may be made to the family for final expenses. Checks may be made to Robert Brill.
