Obituary for Agnes Tochalauski-Krog
Lacon- Agnes Jean Tochalauski-Krog of Lacon, formerly of Henry, passed away 7:45 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Anton F. (Booker) Tochalauski, was born June 25, 1957 in Spring Valley, IL. The happiest time of Agnes’s life was being a mother to her son, Justin Richard Krog. Justin passed away March 4, 2010. Justin’s death left Agnes heartbroken and her life was filled with unbearable loss and grief.
Agnes loved her faith and family deeply and lived as a kind, thoughtful, loving person. She loved the ocean, scuba diving, and the pro-life movement. Agnes loved her two dogs, Paco and Pia. She was also a great cook!
She is survived by her significant other, Greg Shane with whom she made a loving home with, her three sisters; Camilla (David) Russell of Chillicothe, Emma Tochalauski of Lacon and Robbie Carr of Henry. She also leaves four brothers; Frank Tochalauski of Peoria, Anthony Tochalauski of Kansas City, Anthony III of Honolulu, HI and Bill Tochalauski of Georgia, and several nieces and nephews.
Agnes was also preceded in death by her parents, her maternal, and paternal grandparents.
Agnes was a devout catholic and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Henry, IL. Her services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Henry Il., with a one hour prior visitation. Father Steven Bird and Father Keith Walder will celebrate her Mass. Burial will follow, next to her son, in St. Patrick Cemetery, in Henry, IL.
