CHICAGO- Rachel Borho, 33, of Chicago passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at her home.

Rachel was born on July 12, 1978 in Peoria, IL. She is survived by her mother, Lora (Michael) Whitcomb Laukitis of Edwards, IL; father, Dane Charles Borho of Peoria, IL; brother, Ryan (Cynthia) Whitcomb Borho of New York City; one niece, Maia H. K. Borho; her paternal grandmother Mrs. Lynn Borho of Peoria; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rachel attended Richwoods High School and Wayland Academy. She then worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines. She graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2007 and was a Licensed Esthetician working at spas in the Chicago area.

Rachel was a kind, courageous young woman. Her upbeat spirit touched many lives and she was deeply loved by her family.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or PAWS.
